ACCEPTANCE SPEECH OF THE PRESIDENT AND CHAIRMAN OF NISS GOVERNING COUNCIL
Dear Esteemed Members and Fellows of the Soil Science Society of Nigeria,
Nigerian Institute of Soil Science. It is truly a privilege to serve in this capacity and I am grateful for the opportunity to lead our esteemed institute.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to every member of the Soil Science Society of Nigeria for your
support and for entrusting me with this important responsibility. I am fully aware of the faith you have placed in me, and I am committed to working tirelessly to advance the goals and objectives of the Institute.
As we move forward, I count on your continued support and collaboration to elevate the Nigerian Institute of Soil Science to new heights.
Together, we will work towards strengthening partnerships with government agencies, non-governmental
organizations, and development partners to promote the field of soil science in Nigeria.
Our focus will also be on enhancing capacity building initiatives and exploring avenues for revenue generation to ensure the sustainable growth and development of the Institute. I believe that by working together and leveraging on our collective expertise, we can achieve great success and make significant contributions to the field of soil science in our country.
Once again, I express my sincere gratitude for the confidence you have placed in me. I am excited about the journey ahead and I am confident that with your support, we will accomplish remarkable feats for the Nigerian Institute of Soil Science.
