At the just concluded 44th Annual conference of the Soil Science Society of Nigeria (SSSN) at Enugu, FOUR distinguished members were honoured with the prestigious SSSN Fellow. Prof Mohammed Yakubu is the current Provost of the Niger State College of Education, Minna and was the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Ibrahim Badmasi Babangida University, Lapai. Prof James Jayeoba is the current Dean of Agriculture at the Nasarawa State University, Lafia while Prof Samaila Noma is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Soil Science (NISS) Council and the Past Dean of the Postgraduate School of UDUS. Prof Alhaji Hassan Mohammed was the Chair of the LOC which hosted the SSSN conference at ATBU, Bauchi. The Executive Committee members of SSSN wish to congratulate them on the well deserved recognition.
